This is a four-piece Bluetooth Low Energy tire pressure monitoring set built for Tesla vehicles that use the 2.4GHz BLE protocol rather than the earlier 433MHz system. Each sensor replaces the original unit inside the wheel and reports pressure and temperature to the car's own touchscreen — no separate display, no app, no wiring, no programming step.

Why the Whole Set, Not One Sensor

Sensors age together. When one of four reaches end of life, the remaining three are usually within a season of the same point, which is why workshops replace the set rather than a single wheel. A four-piece set also avoids the most common comeback: a second visit and a second labour charge three months later.

No Programming, No Tool, No Extra Screen

The set is supplied ready to use. After fitting, the vehicle learns the sensor identifiers during a short drive and reports pressures on the factory screen. A workshop does not need a programming tool, and a driver does not need to pair anything from a phone.

This is the single largest difference from universal programmable sensors, which must be written to the correct vehicle profile before they will report. If a workshop has no programming tool, or the vehicle is a lease that must not carry a third-party display, this is the correct part.

Installation Notes

• Fit the sensor to the valve stem before the tire goes on; torque the valve nut to 4.0 Nm
• Do not fit a damaged or reused rubber seal — replace the seal with the sensor
• Drive above roughly 25 km/h for the vehicle to pick up the new identifiers
• Check readings on the factory screen before releasing the vehicle

Ordering and Cross Reference

For mixed fleets and distributors we can supply a cross-reference sheet mapping these sensors to the original Tesla part numbers by model and build date. Ask for the current sheet with your first order so your counter staff are not matching numbers from memory.

Sensors are also available separately for replacement stock, so a single damaged unit does not require buying a full set.
